The AICON Gwangju 2021 conference, where attendees can explore
the present and future of AI technology, is set to open on December 16.
AI companies participating in this event will introduce their innovative products,
tailored to trends of the "new normal" era.
Under the theme "AI of the World, Shining Here,"
AICON Gwangju 2021 will present cutting-edge trends in the AI and IT industries.
The event will also include a virtual exhibition hall utilizing metaverse technology,
attracting domestic and international experts as well as industry professionals.
Visitors can experience a wide array of advanced technologies and devices
from AI companies in Gwangju that have garnered global attention.

Innovative Companies Showcasing at AICON Gwangju 2021
Inoditech, led by CEO Bohun Joo, will introduce its AI and ICT solutions specializing in dentistry.
The company’s flagship product is an AI-based next-generation transparent orthodontic aligner.
This AI technology handles tasks ranging from identifying oral conditions
(such as cavities, gingivitis, and malocclusion) to designing orthodontic devices.
CEO Bohun Joo stated,
“We are committed to providing safe and effective orthodontic solutions
for citizens through AI-based technology.”
AgileSoda, led by CEO Taewoo Choi, will unveil enterprise AI platforms
for analysis and prediction. Its key products include the AI-powered OCR solution TwinReader
and the reinforcement learning-based decision-making solution BakingSoda.
The company plans to showcase its technologies and offer consulting services during the event.
Daeshin Information & Communications, a leading IT company in South Korea,
will also participate. In August last year, the company signed a business agreement
with Gwangju City to establish an AI business ecosystem.
As part of this initiative, Daeshin acquired GILab, Gwangju’s first joint AI company,
and has contributed to the local AI ecosystem by actively recruiting regional talent.


Intflow, led by CEO Kwangmyung Jeon, specializes in contactless biometric technology.
Its flagship product, EdgeFarm, is an AI livestock management platform based on
customized non-contact biometric analysis technology.
The AI-powered object detection feature enables 24-hour monitoring of livestock.
Recently, Intflow received the highest certification grade under the GS certification program.
Megaworks, an AI healthcare company led by CEO Kiwon Park,
will also participate in AICON Gwangju 2021.
The company specializes in developing digital therapeutics and healthcare solutions.
Its projects include developing AI-based Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS)
that utilize personal digital markers and genomic biomarkers.
