The LG Purchase Gong Sang Pyeong project aims to standardize processes for LG's affiliate business groups by providing and building systems as SaaS (Software as a Service), with the intention of selling to third parties as well.
The focus of the project has been on analyzing, designing, and developing the areas of quotation/bidding, monitoring, KPI, MI (Market Information) analysis, purchasing information analysis, and dashboard systems for the entire business group's purchasing operations.
To standardize the diverse (new parts, mass-produced parts, MRO, equipment, construction, molds, supplier selection, etc.) and complex purchasing processes, direct business services have been implemented using solutions on SAP BTP such as HANA Cloud, BAS (Business Application System), Data Warehouse Cloud, and SAP Analytics Cloud. These services integrate multiple legacy systems and SAP Ariba System information, enabling standardized UI support for purchasing personnel and collaborating parties. Currently, major LG affiliates are successfully using this system, and ongoing onboarding projects are underway.
